  • Thomas Instrument is near the completion of our new Dual Powered Winch (DPW) for the C-5 aircraft platform.  Testing is underway for our hydraulic and electronic winch, and deliveries will begin this fall.  We are a leading producer of aerospace light to heavy-duty winches meeting aircraft requirements and exceeding customer expectations.

  • We are pleased to announce that Lockheed Martin Aeronautics has selected Thomas Instrument as the source for the C-130J winch program.

  • Thomas Instrument will be exhibiting at the AUVSI 2013 conference in Washington, DC from August 12-15, 2013.  The conference will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. We look forward to seeing you at our booth (2041).

  • NADCAP Certification

  • Thomas Instrument has been in pursuit of achieving a first time Nadcap certification for its in-house NDT processes including Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant inspection techniques. The on-site certification audit was considered very successful with very few minor findings identified and no major findings identified. Responses to the findings have been submitted for final review and approval.
